Refund & Cancellation Policy

We believe in transparency. This page explains our refund and cancellation terms for all professional services offered by SureFilings.

1. Overview

SureFilings (a brand of Taxtown Management Consultancy Private Limited) is a private professional consultancy that provides assistance with company registration, GST filing, income tax returns, and other compliance-related services.

We are not a government body and do not represent or act on behalf of any government authority. Our service fees are charged for professional consultancy and facilitation, and are separate from any government fees or statutory charges.

Important: Government fees paid on your behalf (e.g., to MCA, GSTN, or IT Department portals) are non-refundable under any circumstances, as they are collected and processed by the respective government authorities.

2. Service Fee Structure

Our pricing typically includes two components:

  • Professional/Consultancy Fee: This is the charge for SureFilings' advisory, document preparation, application filing, and follow-up services.
  • Government/Statutory Fee: This includes fees payable to government portals such as MCA, GSTN, Income Tax Department, etc. These fees are collected by us on your behalf and remitted directly to the government.

The breakdown of professional fee vs. government fee will be clearly communicated to you before any service begins. All pricing is displayed transparently on our website and confirmed prior to engagement.

3. Cancellation Policy

You may request cancellation of a service under the following conditions:

  • Before work begins: If you cancel before any documents are processed or applications filed, you are eligible for a full refund of the professional fee. Any government fees already paid are non-refundable.
  • Work in progress: If we have started processing your application (e.g., DSC generation, name reservation, document drafting), a partial refund may be issued after deducting costs for work already completed.
  • After filing: Once an application has been submitted to a government portal (MCA, GSTN, etc.), no cancellation or refund is possible for either the professional fee or the government fee.

4. Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund in the following scenarios:

  • Duplicate payment made by error.
  • Service cancelled before any professional work has commenced.
  • SureFilings is unable to deliver the agreed service due to reasons solely on our end (not caused by government processing delays or client-side document issues).

All refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We aim to be fair and transparent in every decision.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following charges are strictly non-refundable:

  • Government fees already remitted to authorities (MCA, GSTN, Income Tax, etc.).
  • Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) charges once the DSC has been generated.
  • Professional fees for work already completed (e.g., document drafting, verification, filing).
  • Delays or rejections caused by government processing backlogs or inaccurate information provided by the client.

6. Refund Process

If you believe you are eligible for a refund:

  • Email us at surefilings@gmail.com with your order details and reason for the refund request.
  • Our team will review your request within 3–5 business days.
  • If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

7. Disputes

If you have a dispute regarding a charge or refund decision, please contact our support team. We are committed to resolving all disputes amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Gurugram, Haryana.
